The throttle motor governor consists of an inner ring and a matching gear or rotor. The inner ring and outer casing can be held together, and oil entering from the ports pushes the rotor around the center point. This slowly spinning rotor drives the output into a cycloid hydraulic motor via a splined shaft. Motors with rollers provide higher starting and running torque. The rollers reduce friction for greater efficiency, and the output shaft produces a stable output even at very low rotational speeds. By changing the direction of input and output flow, the throttle motor governor can reverse quickly and produce equal torque in both directions. Each series of motors is available in a variety of displacements to meet various speed and torque requirements
