Causes and solutions of various problems of small excavators
1. The performance of the oil pump decreases
When the excavator travels in a straight line, the plunger of the pump flow regulator of the pump is stuck in a certain position, or due to severe wear and internal leakage, the system pressure can only reach 29.5 MPa, which reduces the speed. A running motor may cause excavation deviation. Treatment: Remove hydraulic pump assembly from excavator, replace worn parts, repair regulator, and replace hydraulic oil and filter element.
2. The output pressure of the stepping proportional valve on the deflection side of the excavator is too low
The proportional valve can output the corresponding control oil pressure according to the length of the control stroke of the operating handle, so that the main control valve has a corresponding movement amount, thereby controlling the speed of the working device. Failure to replace the oil filter element in time may cause the element to clog and cause the filter bypass valve to open. Dirty hydraulic oil enters the proportional valve circuit unfiltered, causing the spool in the valve to become blocked. If stuck, the control oil will not be able to flow to the rotating main control valve through the rotating proportional valve on the deflection side of the excavator, resulting in a stroke deviation. At this time, please check the pressure of the step proportional valve (3.3MPa).
Treatment: Clean the valve body and front oil circuit, and replace the hydraulic oil and filter element.
